As you may know, through the months of December 2012 and January 2013, the Sterek Campaign (SC) pulled together the Wolf Pack Charity Project for the Teen Wolf fandom. We gave you guys an opportunity to hook up with Wolf Haven International (WHI) and donate to them for the care of the wolves living at their sanctuary.
Our original goal was to reach $5,000 between direct donations and donations made through the SC auction events. You guys completely blew that goal out of the water, doubling it for an astounding $10,000 donated in the name of our show’s creator, Jeff Davis. Fandom adopted all 43 wolves and 5 wolf-dogs at the sanctuary; their entire pack, adopted by our entire pack.
This sort of amazing generosity definitely deserves remembering, so we at the SC worked with the wonderful volunteers at WHI to have something created just for you.
We asked for this set of pavers to be engraved especially for the fandom (and for Jeff), as a thank you, as a mark. You guys did something completely awesome and now, should you ever visit the sanctuary you helped to support, you can place a paw over your paving stone, and remember that you belong to an fantastic, loving pack.I want to thank everyone who made possible this incredible experience! #i love you peter but fuck you very much #derek has as much heart as anyone on this show and much more than most of them #and i’m just so sick of him being made out to be the one who doesn’t care #even when he isn’t portrayed that way he’s at least portrayed as the one who doesn’t /show/ that he cares #and fuck that he shows it #he shows it in almost every one of his scenes #he spends all of season one trying to help a teenager who doesn’t want him around #and there’s no real reason to keep going after scott; he isn’t scott’s alpha and scott has no information to help him figure out who is #so he keeps coming after this kid who calls him names and puts him down and makes him out to be what derek already belives he is #for seemingly no reason other than he doesn’t want scott to get killed #he knowingly walks into a fight with his own psychotic uncle to protect stiles #he lets himself get arrested for the murder of his own sister who he had to bury #and when the snarky son of the sheriff slides into the car he doesn’t threaten stiles to take back the accusation and help him get free #he takes those two minutes they have to warn him about protecting scott and protecting people from scott #and yes he does it angrily and sarcastically and tries to sound like it doesn’t make a difference to him but he still says it #and god at the beginning of season two all he has is a broken house and red eyes that don’t lead anyone #and so much of season one was about betas and omegas not surviving on their own but what about an alpha #so yes jeff i understand why you love talking about derek’s hubris when it comes to the way he tried to build his pack #but for the love of god who can really blame him #and he could have done much worse than finding kids who he honestly believed he could offer solutions to #and /god/ the looks on his face when he kills peter and when he claws jackson #everyone keeps telling him that he’ll never be a good alpha because he doesn’t have trust or heart #but the reason he can’t be a good alpha is because he jumps into everything based on heart and instinct instead of taking time to plan #so fuck you peter #superman doesn’t have time to tell citizens how great they are while he’s trying to save a city

The span of time it took for Stiles to fully heal- although the bruises on his face had faded within weeks. He had gotten over the fact that it had been Derek hitting him within seconds because it hadn’t been him.
It was something wearing his body, Stiles could differentiate, he was good at compartmentalization; he was the king of it.
Oddly enough, after the fact, when Scott had blundered onto the scene at the last second and saved the day as was his M.O., Derek had been the one flinching away from Stiles.
No more late night break-ins or threats, hell, no more glances in his direction.
